Mission Statement & Beneficiary Selection

PlumFest is an annual Plum Island-wide celebration of live music and community and is part of the Porchfest movement. We celebrate music and the positive connections it creates; we embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion and welcome all to participate; we give back to our community through financial support and service; and we foster goodwill, charity, and good corporate citizenship in all our activities. PlumFest selects beneficiaries based on their fit with our mission, their support of our event through volunteers, promotion, and several criteria. If you would like to be selected as 2026 beneficiary, please complete the form on this page. This will not be reviewed until Fall 2025 once we have completed this year’s event and are planning for 2026.

2025 Beneficiary & Partner

The funds raised at PlumFest in 2025 will support the ongoing music education program at the Boys and Girls Club of Lower Merrimack Valley and enable the club to expand its existing music curriculum by adding instruction in recording technology, studio engineering, and sound management.

Volunteers from the club will help staff the welcome table, supervise the parking lot at the airport, and provide some of the buses to transport visitors around the island on the day of the event. Their support (this year and in the past) is a key asset in helping make PlumFest run smoothly for everyone! Be sure to thank them and be generous on PlumFest day to help them keep their wonderful music program going strong!
