On Saturday, September 13, PlumFest marked its tenth anniversary with what can only be described as our most successful year yet. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our leadership team (meet them here), the dedication of more than 40 volunteers, the generosity of our sponsors including Presenting Sponsor DeMoura | Smith LLP, our hosts and the incredible talent of our bands who donate their time, PlumFest 2025 set a new standard for what this community festival can be.

This year’s event brought record-breaking attendance, with music filling every corner of Plum Island and crowds gathering to celebrate local talent and community spirit. Our expanded merchandise line was a huge hit, with items selling out quickly. Watch our Facebook page for additional shirt options this winter. We introduced our commemorative 10th Anniversary poster and the festival’s first-ever printed program. These keepsakes were created to celebrate how far we’ve come — from a grassroots idea to a can’t-miss event drawing visitors from across the region.

We also took big steps forward in traffic management and safety this year, thanks to the creation of our new Peace Patrol which was supported by the Wolfe Club and our close partnership with the Newbury police department. Their support, along with the attentiveness of our volunteers, helped ensure that everyone could enjoy the day safely and comfortably.

PlumFest has always been about more than just music — it’s about neighbors coming together, opening their homes and yards, supporting each other, and keeping the spirit of Plum Island strong. This year proved just how powerful that spirit can be.

As we look ahead, we’re already planning for PlumFest 2026, and we’d love for you to be part of it. We are now accepting volunteers, band applications, and host sign-ups at Plumfest.org. Whether you’re a first-time participant or a longtime supporter, your involvement is what keeps this festival thriving.
